 Dear pinksundiamond,

Hi...regarding your completed listing for a 2012 fifty cent coin with a 'bubble' error, you may not be aware that this error was named by me as a 'bubble' in 2012...therefore I regard this terminology (bubble) to be my property in regard to describing this error.
Please elect to re-describe this error in future. Failure to do this may result in my taking action to cease you to use the word 'bubble' in describing this error.

Thanking you

Hello, do you, bubble bubble, happen to have bubble bubble any of the 2012 50c bubble bubble bubble coins for bubble sale?

PS: Please refrain from using the word gap because I use it to refer to the space between my ears.

OMG they actually replied .....

The word 'gap' is recognised by the RAM , whereas they have not yet recognised the 2010 20 cent and 2012 50 cent  varieties, so at this stage  the word 'bubble' is MY reference to this variety/error.. Yes, I do have some 2012 fifty's but not for sale sorry....

:whistle2: see what they have to say when it's my name that Ian puts in his book and thanks for the call trout and why didn't you tell me about this AC..I'll have to have words to you too :winkextra: but how can I be mad at my owe

Pay them no mind, but let me know if they do it again and I'll email them 'cause this is BS :) You can't own words like bubble or colours can you :scratch_one-s_head: wasn't there a dispute not long ago about the colour purple and the firm was told tough

Ok Ok it's now know as the AJ ring..so who has AJ's ring, besides me :laugh2: come on people another name for bubble..dot with a hole, a doughnut..I'll have to write to them and ask to see a legal document that says they have sole rights to use the term as I wouldn't be surprised if there are more to come over the years and especially the way the mint is with QC
A wise person knows there is something to learn from everyone.

apparently the name Elvis Presley has a copyright or what ever you call it
it was 'bought' years ago

so AJ - go and slap a copy right on the word bubble

you might even  make yourself a fortune

(little river band is also copyrighted - so the real little river band can't call themselves that anymore - weird eh?)

As far as I am aware larena from CCF Discovered the "Bubble" 20 cent coin in 2010.
If this other person isn't Larena then THEY are in the wrong and who gives a rats about describing an error as a "Bubble" anyway.
I suppose "Cud" may be claimed as a copyright next :dash1:
I imagine that the person that emailed AC regarding the "Bubble" probably had a few 2012 50 cent examples stashed and AJ beat him to the punch, Poor little darling :laugh2:
HaHa the little  "Princess" will just have to get over it
WELL done AJ for unselfishly bringing this to our attention as soon as you found it without hoarding the knowledge for self gain, I take my hat off to you old Mate :yahoo:
If you have any more dramas with this clown AC, Simply give me the contact details and I will have a "Quiet Chat" with the Bumpkin :ok:

Actually the first ones that appeared on Ebay were sold by chooks70, who happens to be a chap not far from where I live on the Southside of Brisbane.

Larena is in Bundaberg and her Ebay ID is silverworks1148, and just letting you all know, she is a member here on this forum. :nea:
