You can actually change your current display group. For example, AJ you are a member of the REGISTERED and THE 5000 CLUB groups. If you don't want to display your 500 club badge any more just go to your User CP and click on the Group Memberships link on the left side of the screen.

All PPH has done is change her display group to the 500 club instead of her usual Super Moderator group.

Just on the 500 club I've setup the forum to automatically move people into the 500 Club when they hit 500 posts. You'll need to activate the display of this group yourself though via the User Control Panel. Here's how you do that:

1. Click on the User CP link just below the top banner.
2. Click on the Group Memberships link which is on the left side of the User CP screen just below the Miscellaneous heading.
3. Click the Set as Display Group link next to The 500 Club.
