That's the best way to do it, the image is added to forum content.  You can also display an image from an external source using [img][/img] tags, there's a button for that in the post editor tool bar.

Like this - [img]thekrashsite.com/pics/apple_orange.jpg[/img]

I was thinking if this board continues to decline, why don't we fold it in with the Knights as I feel like I am doing doubleduty keeping both alive and they are similar as I have been posting hard in that castle.

There was a script available in SMF 2.0 that merged two forums, don't know if it's been ported to 2.1.  We had considered doing that, but the migration/conversion/upgrade of the MyBB forum and Coppermine gallery was already very complicated, so we decided against it.

Yes merging forums can be difficult, so perhaps think about migrating users from one forum to another and change the forum to something completely different than either.

This way all users have a new forum name and design but all are logging in to the same place.
