I just saw on Facebook that Mark and Kathryn are closing or selling The Purple Penny.

QUOTE...

"For those who are not aware, Kathryn and I are planning to finish up at The Purple Penny on Saturday, the 1st of August.  We do this with a heavy heart but after 17 years of running the business it's time for us to slow down a bit and to seek other opportunities.

We're proud of what we've built along with all of our customers and people who have supported us, and we're hoping that will not be lost.  The business is available to purchase and is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to get into coin, banknote, and bullion dealing with an established shop-front, great e-commerce sales, and active social media.  If you're interested please contact Mark or Kathryn on 0422 977753."

Good luck with the sale guys, I hope it works out.
Thanks for keeping this site up and running too. Maybe you will have more time to spend here now.

Just wondering what's in store for the forum. It's been an excellent place to come for communication and information.

Anyhow, all the best in the future to Mark and kathryn.
As we age we lose three things, one is our memory and arrrrr I've forgotten the other two!
