The eshop allocation of 2022 $2 poppy coins are being done by a ballot system starting on Monday 14th November.

gweidion

Well that is good news I suppose. I see idiots on eBag paying $200+ for one.
Will we have to join the queue to get in the ballot?

Receive an email from the RAM and they said you have to apply from an email they send you similar to the Legends Ballot Set.

Pedro

Am I reading this right? If you are successful in the ballot you may purchase up to 3 of these coins. Surely they should have a limit of one given their scarcity. What would I know. From what I saw dealers were enforcing a limit of one.

No, they will email you a link if you are a legends member
There\'s no such thing as too much Borobi!

It is a limit of three because they are minting 60,000 which is between 2 and 3 times more than they usually mint.

Goldseeker

People are still paying high prices for this coin.

Why don't they register in the ballot first and get up to three coins at issue price if successful in the draw.

I am one of those that have put my name in the ballot.

Mister T

Still another four days until the ballot is drawn. I guess people are impatient or pessimistic.

I'm guessing coin shops/sellers have dozens of legends accounts in operation

Yes,local Dealer said they might have another Mint run, easy money.

Interesting to see what the final mintage is and if it stays at 60,000,also what the price on Ebay will level out at.

I was sucessful in the Ballot, first time ever, and that includes Perth.
Surprised as i have purchased very little from the RAM over the past 20 years.

Anyone else on here get lucky?..

seedyrom

I've heard nothing.
I guess that means no.

Which is a kick in the guts. I was definitely online and actively trying to get through at 8:30am on release day. It's not like I wandered in late, and now think I should have one

I guess RAM don't love me either. No email, not even in the junk.

I am really *issed off with the RAM. After all the being stuffed around by the mint, waiting in queues, making hundreds of phone calls,
and with the hours involved and after the ballot. And still winding up with nothing, what a complete waste of my and many others time and efforts. Thanks a lot you (expletive deleted). :@ :dash1:

The Email came thru at around 6.30 am this morning,i guess i was just lucky,as i said i haven't purchased anything of substance since the 1980/90's and that was mainly Silver Coins.

A random draw is just that it would seem.

I've put about $5k this year alone into the coffers of the Mint ... so it hurts just that little bit more
