If you have a problem with Australia Post, for example poor/non existent letter delivery you can make a complaint.
"If you're unhappy with the service you've received, or there's been a problem you'd like us to investigate, we want to know about it."
Australia Post Complaints and feedback

Note carefully the third option to make a complaint...."Write a letter"! :laugh2:
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Lol. Write a letter and they will happily lose it for you.

Had to pick up a package from the post office where they said Charges to pay $11.40. Asked the sender what this was about and he said Australia Post often ignores their own guidelines and reclassifies "letters" as parcels. Sure enough, that was what they were trying to do. I said that clearly falls into the letter category. Local post office agreed and waived the extra charges.
Just watch out for the bastards...

Irrelevant for me, living in a regional area, but it will be interesting to see how they perform on this initiative.
I have recently had a couple of satchels delivered, from interstate, with StarTrack (owned by Australia Post) within a couple of days. One was with the courier van and the other came with the normal postie on his little red Honda step through.
