Quote from: 'ausjack' pid='10623' dateline='1364205951'I still think he cracked open a mint set :mocking:

Yes I did crack a 2013 set to add to my collection in my albums ( I do this every year) but this one came from the pond:dance2:
It is sitting in one of my spares albums alongside some other gems I have managed to get from circulation.
In actual fact "She who must be obeyed" Should get the credit as it was in her purse.

I buy mint and proof sets every year so that I get ALL the coins.
But it is exciting to find the new coins in change :wavemulticolor:
Problem is, when you get them in change they are normally pretty bashed around :dash1:

Swapped the ton of 10¢ rejects for a couple hundred $2 today, and got little out of them...

A handful of minor errors, half a dozen rare years, a couple of poppies, and these three:

1988 or 89 die fill (HH initials)
2004 cancerous planchet flaw (Murphy strikes again!)

and

2013 snotty nose cud!!!

Don't think I've ever seen anything like this on a $2 before.

:yahoo: :) :) :) :) :yahoo:

Oh, and a cancerous 2011 not shown cos its swimming in RP7. :(

darn it!

I even asked  at bank - no show here

but I found a 2012 shield 50c in my purse tonight
it's beautiful

does that qualify as a 2013 circulating coin?

I popped it in a flip because it was so lustrous

JeffH

Two 2013 Canberra 20¢ coins today. So they have started turning up here. That makes it 20¢ and $2 for me so far.
