No mint stand this year??!?

I've done more kilometres than I should have, walking around the entire place.

I must have missed an announcement, but are the mint not here this year?

I'll be here for a few more hours, hoping someone can enlighten me.

No RAM this year.
They had a post on the facebook page a while ago to say they were not attending

-= Roadshow Events Update – Sydney Royal Easter Show =-

Due to the ongoing nature of COVID-19 and the risk that locations across Australia may continue to experience outbreaks, the Mint will not be resuming its roadshow activities at this time.

While we're pleased that case numbers have been low in recent times, the health and safety of staff and visitors to the Mint's roadshow must be our primary concern.

This will mean that the Mint will not be in attendance at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2021, however, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and plan accordingly for future roadshow events as we continue through 2021.

If the staff they send to these roadshows are healthy then their chance of dying even if they catch this bug are 2 in 100,000 and the chance that they even get infected over the 12 days are many thousands to 1. They are far more likely to be killed on the road driving to/from these roadshows (1 in 3 million car journeys are fatal and over the 12 or so days of the show they will drive at least 24 times not including any extra trips). As for the public at these events they have decided to take whatever minuscule risk there is as consenting adults to go to these shows. So yes the excuse is a joke.

The RAM will not be attending the Royal Easter show in 2022.

Unfortunately this year we are unable to attend the Royal Easter Show due to the continuing Covid exposures.
We are hoping to return to normal regarding Roadshows and pop ups during the second half of the year.

Please keep an eye on our social channels and register for our emails so you can stay up to date when it is announced.

More disapointing considering it's the 200 th Anniversary of Agricultural Show in 2022
Non attendance is Not RAMs fault, blame the bureaucrats for this
