Okay, so I got some from a Westpac today - they're BF 19 1764618 - 1764622 and are Philip Gaetjens.
The last CAB (October) said most are the old Lowe/Gaetjens signatures.

An interesting snippet for dedicated Note collectors.

Please note that the new $20 banknotes have been printed with two different signature combinations: Lowe/Fraser and Lowe/Gaetjens. The reason for this is that an early print run of the new $20 banknotes commenced while John Fraser still held the position of Secretary to the Treasury. The signature block was changed to reflect Philip Gaetjens' appointment prior to the commencement of the full production run.

Not seeing any on eBay with Lowe Fraser unfortunately. I'm still looking for AA190 xxxxx ones and EA190 xxxxx ones to a lessor extent. Given that there are 10 million notes to a combination you'd think they would be relatively cheap.

No indication of signature block quantities on the release data. Does anyone know someone who works at Note Printing Australia to ask?

Does anyone know how to get a continuous run of new $20 notes from the ATMs or cash exchange machines at Westpac? I had no problem doing this with the new $5, $10 and $50 notes, but they seem to be deliberately mixing the new $20 notes with the old ones to prevent people from doing this.

I can't go into the bank and ask for them directly, because they'll put teller flicks on them, thereby preventing me from selling them as CFU grade. I also can't buy a pack of 100, because it's well and truly outside my price range. What should I do in this situation? How can I get a consecutive run of 20 CFU new $20 notes at face value?

In years past I've asked tellers and they get dispensed by some machine now - I told the tellers I wanted new notes specifically so they were careful enough.

But don't they still count them individually, thereby creating teller flicks that prevent them from being sold as crisp, flat and uncirculated?

I think it depends on the branch and how busy or careful they are. I've had one teller run $1500 out of the cash dispenser and just hand them to me while another time the teller dutifully counted them out.
No notes were worth collecting though, all old or damaged.

Last year the Westpac I went to seemed to dispense as many the teller told it to - seemed like new technology.
But the couple of times I've been to the teller they seemed understanding so if you tell them to be careful I'm sure they will.

Interesting transaction at the bank today.

Swapped a bundle of $50.00 notes for $100.00 notes and ended up with the following:

Three 1996 Test Notes;
Five last Prefix Notes:   2011 x 1 (EL), 2013 x 2 (EL), 2017 x 2 (HE).
Both the 2017 Notes have the Lowe/Fraser signature combination.

Am I reading things correctly that the Lowe/Fraser signature is hard to find?

I thought the 2017 $100 notes were tough to find in general (at the moment anyway).

All the 2017 notes will be Lowe Fraser. The ones that are difficult are the new 2019 $20 notes, most are Lowe Gaetjens with the Fraser combination appearing around the first 50 or 60 thousand in each serial. Exact numbers not available yet.  

Having said that, the HE $100 notes are worth hanging on to as they are last prefix and are in demand, especially in good condition. I'm after a couple myself and hoping the prices will come down on Fleabag.
