Managed to get seven today at the P.O. -required purchasing three $1 stamps in three separate transactions. They are strictly enforcing the need to purchase to get any.
At least now they have them in a container and not in the till (they ran out first week giving them out willy nilly and, when asked if they had any, none left to give people who actually wanted some). The bank teller told me she asked and was told a limit of one per day per person.

So now I have eight of them and six different letters.
Local P.O. did say they were considering a swap session when the promotion ends.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Triggersmob

I managed to get all eight this week.
No purchase required.
That's 20 down now and last 6 to go next week.
I'll be glad when it's over.
Then I have to go to the coin show and get all
the baggie coins, that I haven't been able to
get all year. All too much expense in one time
of the year.

...especially when you have several trading partners all over the world who are looking forward to the coins.

JeffH

Was that a not very subtle hint?

It's OK Jeff, Ralf knows I already have coins for him.

I'm glad my tax return just arrived. :)

My last PO crawl today to get the last 6. One PO I went to had run out in the first week, but ended up ordering more and got more 1st week ones in. They have been really nice and saved me a set last week and then gave me another 2 sets in change for a chocolate bar. They had a few envelopes with the set for the week in their drawer, so i was not the only one to benefit from their generosity. It means I now will have some swaps if anyone needs some gaps filled.

The Australian government has revised its 2019 currency determinations.
If I see it correctly they have put the old ones (#1 to #5) into one new (dated 09-Oct-2019). Furthermore the ''Perth Mint'' determinations are also listed there.

They have put the A-Z $1 coins into the ''non-circulating coins'' section.

Goldseeker

I now have the full set of A-Z coins and the folder.   However, the $9 folder does not retain the coins too well as every time I open the folder, coins fall out.   Not a very successful item.

Now for the Rolls and proof set to be released next Monday, 28/10/19.

As the post office has them in the till and
is giving them away in change, I don't know
how the RAM could list them as non-circulating.
(Although they might not circulate for long,
just like the coloured $2 coins).

Made to order by Australia Post, not for circulation, so the mint considers them non-circulating I guess.

Does anyone happen to have an A and S spares that they're willing to let go? Just short of those two to finish a set! Let me know if you do!

The 26 coin tube has at least 1 privymarked coin. It is not known if the other 25 are privymarked.

Cheers Mike
Damnit. I haven't been on the site for ages. I just bought a set from Wynyard Coins for $65. And I have to wait till the 28th to collect it.

Stupid me.
There\'s no such thing as too much Borobi!

Goldseeker

I understand that the privy marked coin will be randomly placed in some of the tubes but not all of them.

When I get a couple of tubes on release day, Monday, I can confirm or deny this.

From what I read, they will have at least one per roll.
