Still a pretty good find given only 240,000 minted. In any group that is excellent and only overshadowed by the JC ones at 70,000.

Seems like RAM must be still using the dies for the 2019 Jody Clark 50 cent piece because there are LOTS of them on fleabag.
Way too many for their to only be 70,000 in total.
Pretty disgusted at RAM for minting coins out of year as a collector but they have done it before.

Not good but not as bad as the Indians digging out old penny dies, cleaning them up and making new pennies with old dates as collectors' items. That caused a stir which went to Prime Ministerial level (John Howard, if I remember correctly, was involved in getting the dies returned to Australia).
Tried to find an article about it but no luck. Maybe someone here will have a link.

I have a few 2019 JC 20¢ and 50¢. They do seem rather scarce compared to the IRB.

I got bags of all the IRB & JC coins from the RAM desk at a Perth coin show back in 2019.
It was the last and only time I have been to one of those shows. Too many people and long queues.
