That is interesting. Bound to be a big seller.
I am a little puzzled the the US Mint will not be selling directly. Apart from anything else the postage cost is likely to be significantly less, than from Australia, for American buyers.
I await with interest to see how they are packaged and what the price will be.

Back in 1969 during the Moon Landing, Australia was involved with tracking especially by the radio telescope at Parkes, but also involved Carnarvon, Honeysuckle Creek and Tidbinbilla to a lesser degree.
 
The role played by the radio telescope at Parkes was pivotal in bringing pictures of man walking on the moon to the world.
 

So it looks like the  US Mint & the RAM have kissed & made up.

I'm not aware of any friction between the US Mint and /or Ram.

I bet we don't see any such collaboration with the Canadian mint!

The RCM and RAM have settled their differences regarding the Pad Printing.

As a modern US coin collector, it's not unusual for me to be online at 3am clicking refresh on the usmint.gov website to secure coins released in "limited numbers".
You know, exclusive coins with a mere 50,000 coins released

The RAM must be very excited about the size of the market they are about to enter.

It is not clear from the information if the US coin is going to be the proof half dollar (US Mint pricing of $27.95) or the clad half dollar (US Mint pricing of $25.95).  Does anyone know for sure which one it is going to be, in my opinion if the Australian coin is going to be proof, then the US coin should be proof as well.

Total issue limit across the half dollar is 750,000 with 100,000 of those of the US two coin set (Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Proof Half Dollar and one Kennedy Enhanced Reverse Proof Half Dollar - cost of $53.95) - link to the US two coin set is:
