I had never really noticed the lack of hair there. Thanks Mister T!

Mister T

No problem. It ins't plainly obvious that it's a bald spot as opposed to a receding hairline though, even on the proof I linked to.
I don't think William IV had a whole lot either but his portrait doesn't openly suggest baldness:

Interest:   I notice in your opening post on this thread, that your pages have been dated with DANSCO Supreme Pages.   May I ask where you got those pages and are all your pages dated through to 2013 and beyond?

The reason I ask is that I have done the same as you, that is a complete UNC set of circulating Decimals but the pages I have have not been dated.

Hi Goldie.
Dansco 5 cent dated from 1966 to 2013
with circulation figures from 1966 to 2000.
10 cent dated 1966 to 2013
with circulation figures from 1966 to 2000.
20 cent dated from 1966 to 2008
with description and circulation figures from 1966 to 2000.
50 cent dated from 1966 to 2006
with description and circulation figures from 1966 to 2000,
but not including the 2000 Millennium.
One dollar dated from 1984 to 2002
with description but no circulation figures at all.
All albums were purchased direct from Dansco  USA.

What I have just done, is take an empty Dansco page into Bunnings,   got them to use their computer colour matching service to get a sample pot of the Dansco colour, which was a good match. I have a bunch of Avery labels (white) which I am going to paint with my sample pot then print all the missing information on coloured labels, cut to size, then stick in the Dansco under the appropriate coins.
Sounds like a good idea just hope it works.

why not simply put the coins in a 2x2 album and mark the coins with the date and the grade and totally forget about the dansco BS.
Remember these are YOUR coins and don't let ANYONE tell you which ones you need to complete a set.

for goodness sakes, lets hope that they don't give a the new effigy job to the RAM - The 'royal engagement' 20c is a shocker!![/u]

I couldn't agree more Rob.  They also messed up the Steve Erwin $1 coin.  He looks like a gargoyle with snakes coming out of his head.

My thoughts exactly, trout.
No albums allowed in my house.

I only "Evolved" from albums last year, best thing I have ever done :good:
The amount of damage I did to my predecimal coins in those shoddy push in albums would make a grown man cry :dash1:
I love the "Free hand" approach of the 2x2 albums and the flexibility afforded with these. :dance2:

Interest:   Many thanks for your reply re the dated DANSCO Supreme pages.

I can only secure undated pages from this side of the ocean.

Can you advise me of the the contact address etc you have for DANSCO in the USA pleasde.

I need plenty of pages replaced from 1c to $1 so it will be expensive for me.

I can see merit with what you are saying, but this thread is all about my end of the line with decimals, for a lot of reasons, not just the end of an album page. That just gives me another reason.
I'm committed to Dansco's now so I'll leave them as is.
I don't use the old press in type, all mine are in the Supreme albums were you can see both sides.
Having said that, I do use a lot of 2X2's don't have them in albums just loose.
Oop's I do have a couple of sets of pennies & half pennies in the old push in type albums, but they really don't count for much so it doesn't matter
that they touch each other, there is no verdigris to contaminate or spread so I just leave them as is.

Goldseeker

All my pre decimal circulating coin collection, my Decimal UNC and circulating coins are all in DANSCO Supreme Albums.

The only coins that I store in 2 x2's in other type albums are my scarce coins.   IE 1923 Halfpenny, 1930 Penny, 1966 Wavey Line 20c, etc   All my error coins are stored in 2 x 2 as well.

The main problem is storeage space.   With the house chock a block with cupbaords etc my collection has expanded that I have to have two Security Boxes in the CBD.

I must now think of consolidating my collection and start selling off what I really don't want any more.
