I think the existing small train takes about 4 hours

2.5 hours makes Camberra doable as a day trip. Currently the fastest is via buses.

Might time a visit to align with the Summernats which I've been to a number of times.

Oh, and of course there's always the Casino!!! (Oops, might have to give that a miss in the current economic situation). I always loved playing the Carribean Stud Poker there. Four Kings was my best from memory.

That is rather rude. My credit card was debited on 24th April and now they are not delivering until (at least) early June. So they will have my money for six weeks for something not actually yet available. I wonder how much they are sitting on for all outstanding orders?

I have contacted them before about pulling this stunt (not the first time) but never had a reply. This time I have cancelled my order as a matter of principle.

The only problem with cancelling your order is that you might miss out completely. I'd rather put up with their nonsense than pay inflated prices to some dealer who puts a massive mark-up on them.

Don't waste time with the current train service. The buses are much more frequent, and they can do the trip in 3 hours instead of 4. :ok:

Not that I have seen so far. In fact I think the 2015 was a gift too. Haven't found
one in circulation.
When the 2017 ANZACs arrive, I was going to see if anyone wants to swap one.

As for the 1972 5c, I have never found one of those either. That was also a gift to me.
