That's the aim with all of them with the next lot sent AJ.

Now that would be nice:yahoo::yahoo:

These are my results from NGC for 90 Wedding set coins.
I didn't look at the coins from these sets too hard before I sent them away like I would usually do for any other coin because as a rule the coins in these sets are pretty much perfect.
The grading results pretty much speak for themselves as to the average quality of the coins in these sets.

Sp70 x 21
SP69 x 59
SP68 x 7
SP67 x 2
SP66 x 1

I didn't send the coins away to be graded in their original capsules, I carefully removed them from the caps and put them into saflips then put the flips into a binder 20 coin page to protect the coins and to prevent any movement of the coins in transit.

That's a nice lot of good grading there trout.

I think I did the opposite to you - that is I kept them in the capsules, then in a zip lock bag then bubble wrapped them - keeping them separate

I sent the whole 2002 set and I think that's how I will do it for the future sets as well

When I sent my Wedding sets away I didn't "Vet" any of the coins in the sets, I simply sent whatever coins were in the various sets away to be graded.
Normally before I send high grade coins away to be graded I take a high res image of each side of every coin then I look at the images on my computer at very high magnification to see if there are any problems with the coin.
This is especially useful when deciding which Proof coins to send and which to reject, My desired minimum grade for decimal proofs is PR69 and anything with even a minute flaw or spot gets rejected.

I didn't do this with the Wedding Set coins mainly because they are incredibly hard to image and because of the super high standard of the coins in the sets pretty much negated the need to scrutinise them that closely.
With only 10 coins out of the 90 coins that I submitted  not making SP69 or better and 7 of those 10 came in at SP68 anyway, My decision to not spend a few hours imaging and studying each coin before submitting them was justified.

The Wedding Set coins ARE beautifully struck and the expectations of getting the majority of coins to grade SP69 or better are well founded.

Well done for going through the submission process by doing everything yourself as it is far more rewarding and satisfying to do this than to submit coins via a third party. :good:
It is a lot more work and the paperwork, packaging and posting the coins is a real pain in the arse But when you see those results on the NGC or PCGS websites there is a real sense of satisfaction and pride knowing that you have been "Solely" responsible for the work :yahoo:

I am looking forward to your future grading results So once again Good on You and Well done for making the effort to do all this yourself :good:
