Well my set of Holden coins arrived today. I got them delivered to a friend because I thought they might have been sent after I go on holidays. He texted me to let me know my package from the mint has arrived. I'll pick them up from him in the morning. Looking forward to seeing this set even though I'm a Ford man.

I also saw on the RAM website that the empty tins are now no longer available.

I know at the Melbourne ANDA Show this weekend, the full sets and empty tins of the Holden sets disappeared rather quickly.

I am led to believe that a single empty tine went for $197.00.

No, the RAM did not have anything for sale at this show.  

They did have two of the coin designers there demonstrating how they pencilled, stencilled, platrcine etc new designs for coins.

It's hard to work out what will keep gaining in value and what will die off once the trend has died down.

I have just got off the ebay site and the price varies from $300.00 for a full set to upwards to $495.00.

The higher prices are for buy now ads.

It is the cost that surprises me for postage, from $15.00 tom $40.00.

I wouldn't worry too much about the prices of these at the moment.
Give it some time and if you want one of these sets I imagine that they will be available at issue price or less when the resellers realise that they can't sell them all :ok:

I see that they have no problem selling them at $300. I tried to bid, but always too much for me.
