As this coin set won't be dispatched until the first of next month I won't get my sets for at least 6 weeks or more.
I am really looking forward to seeing these "in hand" and I hope they are worth the long wait.

I have only noticed this on the Baby Proof coin above , Maybe I have overlooked the other 2016 50 cent issues .
The Baby Proof 50c coin I sent away to be graded didn't have the double bar.

I just had a look at all the images of the 2016 50c COA coins on the RAM mint shop and every one of them showed a double bar, Even the new Changeover coins :angel:

I actually got pretty excited when I saw the image when it was posted and looked through all my 2016 50c coins , But alas it is not to be :dash1:

They do indeed, though I didn't believe anyone has photos of a set they have purchased with double bars.

It sucks because i would of liked the chance to easily buy a new double-bar coin.  Kind of false advertising.

Getting back on topic, im looking forward to getting these 90th bday coins. Not too long now.

Yes only a couple of weeks now then about another 7-10 days for Aus Post to get them to me.

The Mintage for this set is 9108, Not too shabby for what is basically a subscription issue :good:
I can just see the reaction of the bottom feeders that are now lumbered with dozens if not hundreds of these sets that they had expected to be a very small mintage to take advantage of :laugh2:

9108 is a small mintage and there are more 50c collectors than this so I'm happy I secured 1 set

9108 is pretty low. Anything under 10k is attractive to me.
