Hi

I see a decimal heritage set for sale on ebay for nearly 14k:shok:.
What do you think the value of one of these sets is.

Can you post a link to it, please

sounds a bit dear Rik but there are only 400 made so I suppose it depends on how bad you want one, found this one

downies link on the bottom there and you have to scroll down a bit to find it.

I've had a look in macca's book and haven't been able to find this set yet.

Tell him he's dreaming.  $2k is probably a decent price.  We sold one last year for $1500.  And yes, nice cut and paste job on that listing.

It's probably someone who grades coins but I won't say any names :winkextra:

you should get a job there grading interest as you'd have to be better than him and then there'd be two people working there

If you are serious about purchasing such a set, it would probably be worth your while contacting the main auction houses and commercial sellers and check if they have a set for private sale.

Quite often such expensive items remain unsold between auctions.
