The woodgrain on the 2 boxes are quite different so I am going with Wood with these :good:

I just got confirmation from Dion Buck that these cases are indeed timber :)

Thanks again trout, they must be heavily lacquered, a bit like Japanese style. The fact that I was prepared to believe they were fake wood is a sign of how low my opinion of the RAM has sunk.

The annual Silver proof sets have always been a high quality item with superbly minted coins housed in elegant wooden boxes.
The 2016 set is No exception to this and as of now they are "sold out" at the RAM Shop, This doesn't surprise me at all as the mintage was a low 1966 sets and the 1c, 2c and the round 50c are quite unique :good:

In regards to 2016 BABY Uncirculated and Proof Sets.

Did either of the sets have the changeover type on the obverse side? (or just standard?)

Many Thanks

Thanks - the listings do not show the obverse of the coins!
I had searched as well and could not find any listings with obverse of coins.
I would love to see one, if any one can find one.

I thank you for your efforts.
