Very nice. Are the stains on the outer case or coin?
As we age we lose three things, one is our memory and arrrrr I've forgotten the other two!

I'm not sure Mate, I just took a couple of hasty images before heading off to bed with a chronic case of the Flue .
So much for that Flue injection :dodgy:
I will have a real good look at the coin this arvo but I am thinking they are not stains but toning :ok:

I have just staggered out of bed and I do feel a little better for it :good:
I am having problems getting images of this coin to show the Proof surfaces and the subtle toning :dash1:
I do now however Know for certain what to look for on a Proof Canberra as the surfaces are Unmistakable , Pretty much the same difference as a Wedding Set coins surfaces :ok:

This is the best I can do at the moment :ok:
This shows the 2.5 steps so not only a proof planchet but a rather
good strike as well :)

The influenza doesn't really hit Australia until well after August.  So it is a late flu season here not a winter one. Apparently the infu.  B this year is extremely virulent so the vaccine should help prevent it from killing you. Xx

trout

This is the worst dose of the flue I have had in years, I have finally gotten out of bed after 3 days.
I still have the sore throat and a nasty cough but my energy levels are slowly returning.

I was about to ask what happened to the proof like Canberra. Interested to see how much it sold for though I think the estimate was $800-1000?
