Well that depends on whether you wait for it to do it all by itself or whether you give it some "encouragement" :diablo: ;)

ausjack

:laugh2: I'll have to take you to a show just so you can dress like that Uni :)

Steele
yes I know him (sort of - have met him a few times at shows)

the 1950 y - it seems to have an off centre appearance with the likes of a type of brokage?? I can see reversed lettering either side. seems a bit squished?

Australian coin

it kinda look like one brokage, then a double strike, need a zoom in pic

ausjack

Yeah that's him RG, doesn't seem like too bad a bloke.

Ok I'll try and get some more pic's for ya's.

i'd like marks' opinion on the 1950 y
don't worry - I have picked up some errors over the years that turned out to not be genuine errors
you put it down to experience and it makes you learn more about detecting the markers for certain errors

most reasonable dealers will refund or exchange if you paid a few bob

different if you just get it out of an ave circ book or a junk lot

Steele used to have a page in the CAB - might still have one - readers questions or something like that
