Yes second that interest, another nice set :good: there's so many things they could do out here with our land marks but then our lot wouldn't make them for circulation as there's no money in that. I could finally get my AJ coin

This is a remarkable set that cannot be completed from circulation. The coins do not circulate nor are they available at banks. They are sitting in government vaults with the Susan B. Anthony dollars and are generally unwanted by the American public who will not accept the idea of a dollar coin. At one time there were launch ceremonies for each dollar, but these were discontinued after Martin Van Buren. They have only been minted for collectors since James A. Garfield.

I have a Thomas Jefferson from a colleague. I thought these all ended up in circulation in Ecuador.

Not all. They have to purchase the coins for use there. We don't just send them.

Hi Trout:31 U.S. Code § 5112 - Denominations, specifications, and design of coins
(E)Limitation in series to deceased presidents.—
No coin issued under this subsection may bear the image of a living former or current President, or of any deceased former President during the 2-year period following the date of the death of that President.
Unless I'm looking in the wrong places search cant find banknote or notes - so maybe....... regards ErikP

Clinton has more then 200,000 extra votes but what his name wins presidency because of something called the electoral college

True, but
Calvin Coolidge appeared on a US coin in 1926 when he was serving as President.
Franklin Roosevelt appeared on a coin of the Philippines, then a US colony, in 1936 when he was President.
Both coins were commemoratives.
