Moneybox season is open

Now is the time of year that people cash moneyboxes at the bank, for Christmas spending. If you have a good relationship with staff at your bank branch the it is worth asking to see if you can buy proceeds for noodling.
I have had a couple already. Got $300 of 50¢ from a moneybox yesterday and excellent results from that. Another $170 from same box is waiting for me to pick up today. Photos are of a small sample of the "keepers" from that lot.

Don't tell me that S9ilver Jubilee has been rattling around in change for 35 years!

seen an old lady with several glad sandwich bags while i was picking up more coppers in a city bank yestie, younger girl behind her had a tin. i only had time to hit one bank and 2 shops yestie $40 something of 1 and 2's and 1.5 oz silver for $30 with a bonus 14 grams thrown in, 2nd shop i met an online friend and picked up a couple of foreign coins that appealed to my eye, worst bit was lugging it home on the bus and not being able to noodle without my glasses lol

I don't see any rarities amongst them.  Pity they hadn't been looked after better.

 , true nancy, she has a lot more too , all the old paper notes including the  , $100 , and the $50 , and $20,s plus many $1 and$ 2 dollar notes have been folded in to little squares so as to fit into the 2 x2  plastic sleeves of the numis coin books and all the coins are just sitting together in little plastic bags...
she is on a walking frame and does not get around much anymore and cant find a coin dealer to go to sell them to, where we live so she asked me to sell them on ebay or where ever i can ..

Well, bought the proceeds of a money box cash-in the other day - $260 of 50¢.
Found;
•An incused millennium CCF noodling find of the week
•The coins pictured below. I would put as aUNC.
•Quite few more at around EF grade.
There were quite a few more 2005 Games in (definite) "keeper" condition. Don't ask me why; I just grab them if I see them.

And, another money box yesterday; $90 of 50¢ and $30 of 20¢. A few CoF but not much else except...My first 2010 20¢ "bubble". I do have a few of those but, only because of the generosity of other forum members.

i have not found  2010 bubble .20 c in caboolture yet , but check every coin i receive ,.. ,, kel ,,

Keep looking please. I have found quite a few 2004 bigheads, and plenty of 2008 "gap" but, despite checking every 2010 20¢ I see, I had not found a bubble 'til now.
And I noodle a substantial number of coins each week.

i went for a noodle in caboolture today , found nothing , so on the way home , i went into my bank and got $ 100.00 in $ 2.00 coins and $ 100.00 in .10 c coins looking for 2011 coins,,..

 found nothing in the $ 2.00 coins  , but in the .10 c coins i found

  2 x 2011 == plus==  8 x 66  ==  9 x 67  == 6 x 68 ==  2 x 69  == 1 x 70  
== 2 x 71     ==1 x 72   == 2 x 73  ==  1 x 74 == 1 x 75
 ===     5  x 76 ..   and plus 1 x  .5 c coin.. heaps of 2010 and 2012
 and i still have 2 bags of .10 c coins to go yet

 are any of these more value then face .. as they are from cir and have some wear on them ...   ,, kel ,,
