I love the Ram's head design, so that would have to be my favourite.

Wow when you put them all together like that they look amazing.
The coloured and proofs are standouts; the RAM does a great job with our 50c coins.

I always enjoy seeing the rams head in change

I think the 1991 ram's head with runner up being the 1988 First Fleet Bi-centenary.
Silver proofs are lovely coins (any denomination) but I am only considering circulation issues.

Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

I like most of Stuart Devlin's designs, the 1977 Jubilee probably my favourite with the 1991 Decimal Currency runner up. Worst ever is the Weary Dunlop.

My favourite would be the 1991 rams head closely followed by 1988 tall ship

I'm going to have to say the round 50's, amazing design!

I myself quiet frankly love em all, they are a unique size and shape that is distinctly Australian.
I agree that there are some sub-standard designs and some beautiful designs for this coin.
But at the end of the day they are an "Iconic" Australian coin :good:

1970 is my favourite, followed by 1977. I have fond memories of family and friends saving these years and passing them on to help me in my early coin collecting days.

I'm a sucker for the old school, when commemoratives were the exception rather than the rule.

just so ya know I count $60 in face value for pic 1, so the stating price is $10 more
