I am no expert, but looks to be AU 58 or so at a min... if thats the case $750-$800 coin. If AU55 , $200 coin..

My guess is 58

Unfortunately I think that the hit in front of the King will preclude a AU58 grade.

Thanks again for the comments everyone. This may have no relevance to grade, but what first took my eye was the strike, as many 1915 London pennies appear to be less well struck IMO. :)

Circulation strike struck from re-used proof dies.
Most proof markers are visible (on the high res) but obscured due to weak die pressure and extra die polish.

I love the look of King in Cameo on the Obverse :drooling:
It is a real shame about the weak strike, Especially on the reverse :(
Regardless of this a Very Nice Canberra Mate and a great addition to your collection, Well Done :yahoo:

You usually get a weak central strike on business strikes struck from proof dies because proof dies are a lot flatter whereas business strikes are slightly conical to allow for detail to be well struck up under lower die pressure. The result is when the flatter proof dies are used at circulation strike pressure you end up with some loss of detail at the centre.

It would have been nice if PCGS had of graded this as MS64CAM or noted that the coin is "Struck from proof dies" in the pedigree when it was graded and attributed :good:
I sent my MS63 Proof Like coin back to PCGS  to see if they would grade it as PL63 instead of MS63 But that just turned out to be a waste of about $150 and I didn't even get the trueview images that I paid for and the cert lookup still has NO image with it. :cray:

I picked this one up on eBay today But I still need to find a 2013 Holey Dollar and Dump coin to complete my set registry set.

Was looking at 22 pennies and found this one. Makes you wonder why anyone would bother counterfeiting them:shok: Although, there was a fleeting moment when I thought maybe just maybe this could be the rare one that got away :dodgy: hehe
