Picked up my first 2014 $2 yesterday. It was in our change tin from selling at the markets.

Seen a few more 2014 $2 coins floating in the till lately and today I found my first 2014 10c. :)
(Also found a 2001 Bradman 20c, haven't one of those for a while.)

Hello all...just curious as to where is the thread for the 2014 MOR?

2014? I wish!
50ยข noodlimg last week and this week has turned up many 2013 -around 20% of population.
Neither of the two banks has had them so, must be the supermarket -all with Armaguard but bank contracts are serviced from Orange and supermarket is state wide contract. [I could advise Armaguard, for a fee of course, how they could cut some costs with their delivery/pickup runs.]

I continue to wait. I have picked up Unc Armaguard bags from local banks before with two year old dates.

Any idea on the mintage numbers on the 2014 coins?  Only found 10c and 50c so far!

Pedro

CC, to my knowledge the RAM has flagged the 2014 mintages for:

MOR $1 2.0m
ANZAC $1 23.0m
AIATSIS 50c 2.0m

The mintages for rest we need to wait for the upcoming 2013/14 RAM annual report for guidance. Even then however more 2014 coins should be produced in 2014/15 so unless the RAM specifically announces otherwise (like they have with the abovementioned issues) final mintages for 2014 coins won't be available until later next year.

When they're available CC they will turn up here and click on the denomination you want on the left hand side, hope it helps mate. http://www.ramint.gov.au/designs/ram-designs/50c.cfm

Or like Pedro said you can chase up RAM annual report.

Email from the RA Mint to me:
"Thanks for your call earlier. As discussed on the phone, I can confirm that the Royal Australian Mint rolled the 2014 $1 Mob of Roos Coin in-house. There isn't an official mintage of the rolled $1 coins. There are approximately 1 million 2014 $1 'mob of roos' circulating coins being produced."

Pedro

Oops - reading skills weren't working at full tilt were they!

Pedro

oh my florin

I swear I have seen the 2014 twenty cents while at work. Don't collect the decimals but still look out for nice looking ones. Ironically even at work I handle the coins by the edges if they are nice lol.

RAM didn't lie to you but they didn't tell you the full truth either, they didn't roll the full 1 million coins, the truth will come out
