I feel that
Digger (1) 0 0
degrades the importance of the coin in that the Digger replaces the numeric value of ONE,
when the whole theme is to promote a value of 100.

Would rather have seen 100 Diggers on the coin celebrating one hundred years rather than one Digger imitating the numeric 1.
Poor design imho!

These coins will be available in unc in various forms of packaging that's for sure

I believe they have pretty much said not.

'This coin is not available for purchase and is not available in uncirculated or proof finish.'

I don't think they could have said it any clearer.

It may be on a PNC but it will still only be a coin taken from a roll or mint baggie.
No special treatment just a regular coin you could pick up from the bank.

Coin will be unc in PNC,not everyone has contacts with banks to get one.Packaged in PNC was always going to happen,even Perth Mint has their own version in PNC

the image of aussie digger is waaay too small for coin size and be lost amongst all the text which most people will not even read ...

While they've produced some absolutely awesome designs over the years, I think we'd all agree that there have been some pretty yawnworthy issues. And this, very sadly, I would put in that category. Though I may change my mind once I get my claws on one... :angel:

Just waiting for the sacks to hit any of my 30 banks... absolutely no sign anywhere yet... maybe all the negative feedback (design, 99 years instead of 100, etc) actually had some impact? *shrug*
