Looks like grain on the right, though it could be ammunition belts going by the central theme!

ausjack

I'm thinking it is grain, so I'll count it in the list until someone proves otherwise.

Steve, it is grain on the Mozambique coin. On the right hand side of the page below it says that it's an ear of maize (which explains the rows).

The Mozambique Emblem consists of Corn on the right, Sugarcane on the left. The only nation to incorporate a Modern firearm in their Emblem (AK47)

Just a little extra,
the Emblem was not adopted officially until 1990
They "Jumped the Gun" by using it in 1986.

OK, so it's not a grain and I can't add it to the list,
but still nice to see a beaut looking coin. :)

I could really go off 'çoin' topic with some personal "Australiana" history in the grain theme, but I shall not.

How far do you take this? Grain as a theme, or grain as an element?

Many Coat of Arms designs feature grain as an element - 2001 Queensland Federation 50c and New Zealand Half Crowns for example...
