Nancy I put them up like they are then thought the cud progression was top to bottom in the 2 pics not left to right and maybe should have just merged both pics into one large one so people could see at one glance. Get me?

Progression is L - R, sorry I should have pointed that out.  I have at least 8 different 2009 coins that have these claw cuds , possibly even more as it's been a fair while since I found them.

That's what I did, and the file size decreased by 75%. I suspect the originals had no compression.

The wiki for the Penny needs editing. I didn't see Bombay Mint listed there.

Checked it out and it's true.

I think it is just easier to look at them and, if you have ever seen one of each side by side, you will tell instantly.
I can see how that works and it is not a "tilted" digit like some 1970 50¢.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

For PPH and Markn:   Can you include the pictures that Tiggersmith has put up with my letter of explanation or can't it be done?

I tried to do as Tiggersmith has done and I failed miserably.

Thanks TS, great help to explain my input.

Can you put some explanation on the "tilted digit" please.

That's a new one. Haven't been called that before.

My pleasure. It took a while, as I didn't have a program to use, so I had to load up Publisher 2010. Been meaning to do that anyway.

I agree, it is easy to tell the difference if you have seen both, but if not it could be difficult.

Thank you I have taken the information here and posted it into the wide and narrow date 1994 50c wiki.  Anyone have any idea of the relative mintages of each variety?  Is the wide date more common in the PNC or circulation?

No problems, Goldie. I just hadn't seen that name before.
You would be surprised how many different versions I have seen.
Might have to change my handle to "BOB" or something similar LOL.

Markn, the image for the shilling wiki has disappeared.
Looks like something has happened to the img tags.

It appears the user who uploaded the image  to the gallery deleted it.....whoops! Should be fixed now.

That would be me.
I thought once the pic was uploaded, I could get rid of my copy.
How permanent is the Wiki going to be, if it relies on members pics?
Members will come and go, so maybe the pics need to be stored elsewhere.
