Having a look in the spare room through my computer junk and found this Bloke.

That's a female, can tell by the abdomen & thorax slightly larger than the male,
(of course)

a female - wot sort (besides big, hairy and ugly)

I was discussing these spiders with my Daughter a few days ago.
We were wondering if the plural of Huntsman would be Huntsmans
or Huntsmen. Any thoughts?

I would go with Huntsmen but it sound the same when speaking it.You
would say Huntsman spider for single and Huntsmen spiders for plural.
 Does that sound right?

I'm not sure. It could be just Huntsman spiders.
Have to wait and see what others think.

Id go with  Huntsman spider for single and Huntsmen spiders for plural.  Huntsman describes the type of Spider, like Grey Wolf single becomes Grey Wolves plural.

I have just been looking around the net and I think it is
Huntsman spiders  
as they are a huntsman spider - singular
and then when they talk about them in toto they are referred to as Huntsman spiders
