While I am sure that publishing a book is no easy feat you've really got to wonder about this.  It always seems to be a last minute rush on his behalf to get the book out before Christmas.  As far as I am aware there is no last minute information he's waiting on, it's not like he even includes the latest mintage figures from the last RAM report.  So why not just put his target publishing date as the first week in November rather than the first week in December and save himself what seems (by his telling anyway) a major drama?
