I went to the auction yesterday and today. It was my first large auction and i had a great time. Picked up a couple lots, met a few people and saw some awesome coins up for sale. The first three predecimal proofs, a 1948 1/2d and a 1953 1/2d & 1d went for around the $100,000 mark combined. Watching tht bidding was the highlight for me.
