They all appear to be from the same die with a common die marker visible.

My guess is that there is some die deterioration going on.
The ends of the letters can move very slightly and/or become doubled hence the dot can appear to move relative to the top of the Y.

Thank you Auto,Neal and Echi for your knowledgeable opinions regarding this coin. My humble opinion is that there is so much I don't know about Commonwealth predecimal coinage, but have learnt about the 1941 kg high dot after y.

The one in the Roxbury auction appears to be the standard version.
The "High Dot Y"s all have a "stepped" rim as well, and that one looks normal.
