Apparently the obverse also has some special marks on it too, You will need these to crack the code.

I used to do crypto decoding in the cypher vault in the army but like BrisMike said, "can't be arsed"

Yeah, a friend posted that news article to me just after a coin club meeting where these coins were discussed.

I said at the meeting, "give it a few days, then I'm sure we'll be able to look up the code answers on the Internet somewhere".

Channel 7 take a bow  :-/ . "Proudly" announced on the news last night that they had cracked the codes and then proceeded to list them.
