It's not looking as though anyone got them.  One Ebay seller has 14 x lots of 10 listed, so it appears he had some inside help to get so many so soon.

I should have rephrased the question to:   Did any member of this forum secure any of these coins for those that requested them".

I think that the RAM deserves a good kick in the %^&  for the severe lack of notification to the general public about this coin swap.   Had I known, I would have either drove up and secured some or got my friend who lived in Canberra to get me a few.

I would presume that these coins will be in circulation and that we COLLECTORS will be able to secure some UNC coins?

There were a bunch sold in lots of 10 on eBay - going for about $20 each + postage.  Only cost them $2 to acquire.

I wonder if the RAM are going to offload them in any other way.  Will be interesting to see.

oh - i live in canberra - would have dropped down if i knew about it & was there but but,
 i was in melbourne waiting to become a grannie!
didn't even go into the coin shops in the city
