I was reading through an old Rennicks and it mentions quite a few patterns, though there were a few I hadn't seen or heard of before:
1918M threepence - https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/items/52382
1920 Melbourne halfpenny - haven't seen it - https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/items/75209 might be what they were talking about
1920 florin - https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/items/75247
1922 Melbourne sixpence - https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/items/71160 but I don't think it's a pattern
1937 patterns - well-known
1943 Perth halfpenny - haven't seen it
1945 Melbourne halfpenny - haven't seen it
1945 Melbourne penny - https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/items/55892
1949 Melbourne halfpenny - haven't seen it
1951 Melbourne halfpenny - haven't seen it
1951 London florin - https://collections.museumsvictoria.com.au/items/55861

Anyone seen or read about the unknown ones elsewhere?

echidna

1909 florin.
What a magnificent coin that would have been.
And then all the 1919 and 1920 pennies and halfpennies.
1911threepence with milling.

Not lately, but they,patterns/obscure proofs, received a lot of attention as we headed to Decimal currency so the articles should still be out there somewhere.
Interesting article by Sharples on the Melb. Mint during WW11,early 1940's is when the 1930 penny started turning up in Sydney during the currency crisis.

Ah, good idea.

1920 Melbourne halfpenny (unphotographed): https://www.noble.com.au/auctions/lot?id=137504
What is meant to be a 1951 Melbourne halfpenny (https://www.noble.com.au/auctions/lot?id=223506) but now I wonder if it's just a Perth proof without the dot.
