[Australian coin]

ok I have been very busy recently and have not been keeping up with any coin news but, I have sat down this morning and have done a bit of catch up.

ok first thing is the new 20c circulating coin design of the centenary of Canberra. (BIG picture)

another thing is the RAM are no longer doing the ballot system for the $10 gold coin this year, first in first served.
obviously they had slow sales last year with this and probably had leftovers so they just want to sell them to anyone.
a suggestion would be drop the f'n price..

also got the new legends pamphlet in the mail, it is offering, Australian decimal effigies - Maklouf 1985 - made to order.

no pictures, I would think expensive for what it is, do the maths, 11.66g for the holey dollar and dump proof coin is $55. SO WHY are they asking $200 for the exact same format, promotional BS if you ask me. its a slap to the face and a general insult to coin collectors, shame

Same as the gold one $3600 an ounce is one hell of a premium :dodgy:
