I was taking inventory on my collection using excel documents and I wanted to include mintage figures for reference. They seem to vary however so I was wondering which source is the most reliable.

The RAM provides mintage figures for circulating coins up to the last couple of years: click on "our coins" on the RAM website and then each denomination. Be aware though that the figures are for coins issued in that calendar year, not necessarily coins dated with that calendar year. Figures for uncirculated coins are quoted in Renniks and McDonalds guides. I must say I always treat figures like that with a touch of suspicion. I would be happy to send you my personal catalogue as a spreadsheet if you want.

The mintage figures on the Australian Coin Collecting Weblog are as good as you could get. Well researched by top members of this forum.
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

The annual reports at https://www.ramint.gov.au/annual-reports are reasonably accurate (though there have been errors in recent years).
They appear to list mintages by year on the coin and not the year of production.

September will be the next 2018-2019 Annual Report so combine mintages from 2017-2018 for full figures
