Horse race

I hear there is a horse race on today. Is that correct?

I thought there were horse races every day.

There's a whole new TV channel here in Adelaide about horse racing. Not that I've ever watched it. I don't even know if it's a national channel.

The racing channel is national but sourced from Victoria -a result of a spat between the Victorian racing authorities and Foxtel I believe.
If your TV set can't receive it (or just has audio and no video) pm me and I will tell you what you have to do to enable your set to receive it. The 7 network/Prime shopping channels will have also suffered the same problem when you retune (but that is no loss whatsoever).

Edit. PS. I think the regional WA equivalent of Prime may be called something different. It will be the channels with numbers starting with '6' in regional areas.
