Hi all,

I dont post often but I am always reading everyones posts.  I would like peoples opinion on this threepence, I have been offered it as an underbidder in an auction.

Thanks

Cheers Stevo, would that prevent a PCGS grade due to cleaning?

stevo1962

In that condition it probably would prevent it from getting graded

Shame, the strike looks brilliant

Yeah, shame,as soon as you see a shiny coin alarm bells should ring,it doesn't mean its been treated but there is a 90% chance it has.

I thought it looked polished due to the emu feathers looking rounded but then the star looks really sharp, so I was torn. Regardless I have now declined the coin, (its not from ebay / pw).  Thanks for everyones input it has validated my initial concern and saved me a few bob.
