AJ got me started with his example above ......

This one is similar inasmuch as the line crosses the end of the reed, but it also has a smaller one to the left of it. Along of course with the absence of the second major one in AJ's.

This one is a stronger line, but more to the right of the reed.

To finish it off, a pair left and right of the reed end along with another pair indicated by the arrows.

So what were they doing to the dies in 2006? This makes at least four different examples with at least one line near the end of that reed ....... how odd. :scratch_one-s_head:

2001 is another year that has a lot of them there "polish" line :) and found another 06 die crack earlier that I'll try and get a pic of tomorrow..just for you mate :friends:

I'd like to know what they've been doing for a bit longer than that Uni, try the mid to late 90's is where you really notice heaps of errors :dash1:

Too many scratches on this one but a nice polish line

die crack as promised :)

Ok while we're going on about things that are different I'm gonna hijack ya thread so hope ya don't mind :beg:
mega doubling on this one from the top to the bottom, star, all around the shield and the bottom half is just a mess :dodgy:

I should have put this in Jeff's road kill
:scratch_one-s_head: think it's got some major problems..maybe even more than me :laugh2:

but what really gets me with these is that you can still make out writing

But then the starnge bit is the high points like at the base of the E

:scratch_one-s_head: funny squished numbers

Think I might have a couple more like this 08. Red arrow=cud, orange arrow=die crack..I think

and one for Pedro, 2014 with 5 cuds around the shield :winkextra:

I assume the 50c with all the doubling is a 2007 AJ (I guess maybe a 2008 or 2009 could also fit the bill).

I wonder what the 2015 50c is going to do for us when the 2014 has given us so much to look out for :laugh2:

And what is that funny little circular thing to the right hand side under the reed on the 2008?

:laugh2: .... No worries AJ, I'd probably be the worst offender with that at times.

Nice 2006 die crack and top pics AJ!
