Just one last comment from me:  I think the organiser should preferably be someone who has a PO Box,  as I'd be a bit iffy about handing out my street address to all & sundry for the coins to be sent to.

I think that is a good idea too. I was hoping that we could send the coins to PPH or Markn as I think they have a PO box for The Purple Penny. I don't mind keeping track of the coins they receive, if that's ok with everyone.
