I am only interested in something like this only for the resale value on eBay. :P I feel a little evil doing this.

A hundred bucks of profit will contribute to funds for my florin collection.

If people go nuts over the Victoria Cross coin with 5,000 mintage, a mintage of 1,915 will generate similar frenzy perhaps?

The fine print says

The ballot form must be supplied in an envelope with the word 'BALLOT' written clearly on the envelope

Now.... does it have to be THE envelope provided? Or can I just write BALLOT on any envelope?

On the terms & conditions, these two conditions seem a tad strange as there is no space on form to include an email address.??

• To enable us to contact you if required and in a timely manner, please provide your current
email address or any changes to your phone number.

• Successful ballot entrants will be informed by email or mail

Original ballot envelope only.
This ballot release has little appeal and I doubt it will ever give anyone profit on the secondary market
$500 is overpriced and too risky if profit is the motive

You are probably right. I am betting that the RAM's marketing department got it wrong and demand is in fact higher.

2000 is probably what the market can absorb so they made the mintage 1915 as a sales gimmick.

I wouldn't think these coins had the appeal of a Victoria Cross commemorative.  I don't see demand being that high.
