So, Linda just mentioned the bimetallic dollar(s), and reckons there are some quantity of them.

I thought the 2009 that PPH had was the only one known????

Or did I miss something?

Yeah, I know, rarely logs in... far too busy with Failbook 24/7, and now I've got her mining Dogecoins too. But she still finds nice stuff. Remember her lovely filled obverse $1?

As far as I know the owner/finder/Woolies shopper wouldn't sell and was keeping it for a rainy day. I certainly haven't seen it appear on the market and by golly I would notice if it did.

What would you pay if you could buy it?

Far too rich for my blood.
Being a popular coin to collect like the 25mm dollars are this would rate as good if not better than the famous scalloped 20 cent coin , so $10,000 + would NOT be out of the question .
From the images on PP's site this looks to be in MS condition as well , Always a "Bonus"
Considering that the Mules in this type of condition are commanding multi thousand dollars this will / or should command quite a significant price  above ANY Mule.

As rarity goes this would rate higher than a 1930 Penny :ok:
Bloody awesome coin

Because of the planchet it has loads of eye appeal and decimal errors have been fetching some high prices of late.
