Hi guys. I've got a bundle of 100 x $5 US Fed Reserve STAR notes I'd like to sell.

Notes are in perfect uncirculated condition exactly how they came from the Federal Reserve.

They're listed on ebay for $1100 but I'm happy to sell them to any forum member for $999 with free postage.

With a declining AUD I am confident these are a fair price with good investment potential.

United States star notes are like Australian star notes in that they are printed to replace error notes or notes that are damaged during the printing process. Less than 1 in 100 notes in circulation are star notes making them rare and sought after by collectors.

Hi Serial. I don't have a picture of the back of the bundle but the notes look like this...

There are some nice numbers in the bundle too like 00556005, 00556055 etc.

I would be all over this but I just got chewed out by the missus for spending to much leading up to xmas.
good luck with the sale. it should be pointed out at current exchange rates this is $606 Australian so whoever buys this would only be actually spending $300
a good buy for a budding note collector

also I have traded with dreamcatcher previously and been very happy with the communications, packing of items and notes I bought

I don't understand that Serial - the $ exchange

serial

basically the $500 is worth $606 Australian at the current exchange rate
$1 US buys $1.21 Australian

Thanks Serial.

These are also not easy to bring into the country, with the USPS generally not allowing currency to be posted to Australia and very few international sellers willing to take the risk sending them. I had a friend who lives in the US bring them over for me a while back.

Alternatively I could break the bundle up into runs of 10 x consecutive notes if people are interested?
