Reminiscent of the Hutt rivers issues.
Coin garbage, Defiantly an attempt to cash in on the popular dangerous animal coins

Is it any different from the stuff the Perth Mint churns out?
It's only purpose is to relieve us of our hard earned dollars.
There is no way I could keep up with all the Perth Mint issues,
that's why I decided not to collect NCLT.

I only buy what I like in nclt coins, i agree that a great deal of them are "Collector Bait" But if you sift through the ugly ones you can end up with a collection of gems :good:.
Coins from a country that consists of three fly spots in the middle of the Pacific with a population of 15,000 has NO place in my collection of Aussie NCLT coins.
I have no problems at all in spending my "Hard earnt" on something I like or has a reason to be commemorated.
But these are purely plagiarising the designs of popular Aussie coins and should be shunned
I also have "gaps" in my Roo collection simply because some of the designs are quite simply" bloody awfull".

Nothing wrong with NCLT coins, you don't have to have them all.
Just get the ones you like:yahoo:

Font really like coins from countries that don't have and legal tender themselves. I think this counties legal tender is nz$. Also am against Aussie themes on foreign currency.

I asked about this set and if it was Perth Mint designs and Downies were selling it.

Check it out…

Hello there,

Thank you for your email. The Deadly and Dangerous silver coins were minted by The Perth
Mint as a custom project for Downies, however the gold coins were not.  The intellectual
property (i.e. the designs etc.) belong to Downies. Please feel free to contact them for
further information.

Best wishes,
