I notice PCGS has graded about 28 million coins. Looking at the PCGS website, I couldn't see how many Australian coins have been graded.

assumptions:-

1)pcgs & ngc are far ahead of other tpg as Nos 1 & 2

2)there are heaps of collectors out there or ?

300,000 Aussie coins ? really ? , i would have thought we would see a lot more of them in the selling market if these numbers are true.

They are probably Aussie coins but not submitted by Australian collectors and now reside overseas.
Or have been sent to PCGS for a crossover.
300.000 is a lot of graded coins , I'm not even sure that there are that many slabs in total in Aus (Including PCGS)

There's hundreds of NGC graded Australian coins on the US eBay at any one time.  The VAST majority are modern NCLT.  Usually PM or RAM 1oz silver and gold bullion type coins.

It is not unusual to see 100 ASE coins graded at a time on the PCGS site.
I would think the graders would be boored stupid looking at those bloody things all day.
NO wonder it takes sooo long to get a submission graded with all the bullion rounds bogging the system down :dash1:
