I CHOOSE TO HAVE MY COINS GRADED BY APCGS...

So, if you buy this coin, will it come in an APCGS "slab", or a 2x2?

The picture is clearly not inside a slab. Why would you pay money to a slabbing company - even a doubly-worthless one like APCGS - only to take the coin out of the slab before you sell it? Unless, of course, they went for the "certificate-only" service.

How easy is it to crack open an APCGS slab, anyway? Anyone actually seen one in hand? Are they heat-sealed like proper slabs, or are they simply generic-brand unsealed slab-shaped holders?

The seller would have had to remove the coin from the slab in order to give it a vigorous polishing :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

I don't have a APCGS slab but I DO have a Peter Wallace coin.

This is what is expected when a coin is described  as Ch Unc :ok:

What is a "COD ERROR"?
Is that short for codswallop?
Thinking is dangerous, it makes you think. That\'s why many people avoid it.

Might not be shed jobs, a few years back I worked in recycling, coins would come out of a crusher looking as bad as that. I kept a whole bunch. Maybe APCGS will slab them as error coins.

A cod error is when a seller has such large cojones needed to tell such porkies that they don't fit in the cod-piece.

:laugh2: Good one! :)

I've actually had a couple of these coins myself. Added them to my Roadkill pile to throw at my unhelpful branch. So I wouldn't go as far as saying he made it. Y'never know, he might actually believe his tripe.
