I received a message from a RAM customer who ordered one of these 2014 Kangaroo at Sunset $25 Gold Proof ballot coins. It seems the RAM has sent out 2013 dated coins and asked that it be sent back as they have made an error. Anyone else in this boat?

I chose not to "compete" in the ballot this time.

So we're not talking about a mule here as I would assume it's exactly the same as last years coin just in a 2014 box.

Just a typo. So did anyone else who went on the ballot receive a wrongly dated coin? I didn't do the ballot this year.

Not me. I didn't even send in the paperwork.

No more NCLT stuff for me.

give up on RAM and still thinking if I shall give up the kangaroo series as well

I didn't enter the ballot this year.
Simply the coin is too expensive and has limited if no investment value now
An affordable realistic issue price would make this ballot more participated

Nope, I didn't ballot for one either and I offered my two ballot papers up to forum members and no one took them up.

Members here would have their own ballot mailout I assume and because of no excitement in this series anymore not many would have entered.Great gesture though Goldy:wavemulticolor:

I am told certificate numbers from around 800 to 1,000 all contain the wrong dated coin and the RAM is sending out self addressed post bags to persuade people to return their coin. I can't see any benefit at all from keeping a 2014 box/certificate with a 2013 coin as anyone could swap coins/capsules in boxes.

I read all your negative comments in this thread and it doesn't help with the original question and topic.

If anyone has any relevent comments regarding their own purchase or experience then I'd love to hear it as I personally didn't order one of these coins so I have vested interests.
