Coins from Vending

Is there any where I can get an idea of what grade is what, quite often I'll see a coin and its labelled very fine, but it looks like a reject to me??

I have a lot of coins I'd like to start selling and want to be close to accurate with my assessment??

Mister T

I don't look at a lot of graded decimals (I stick to my change mostly) but my understanding is UNC is no wear, EF is a bit of wear on the high points, VF is more wear than EF but the important details are still pretty clear, VG is details are all pretty worn but still identifiable (and Fine is somewhere between VF and VG). How that translates to specific coins will probably depend on the specific design (and there's a lot of choice there).
I'd post some pictures in the grading section and try to get a feel for it based on what other people think.

In terms of decimals there is not much interest unless the coin is UNC.
Generally I'd suggest simply looking at "uncirculated" coins.
Perhaps the PCGS population reports would be informative
Also the ANDA grading guide.

There is a huge diferance between MS60 and MS70 or UNC And FDC.
I think most decimal collectors would prefer to have coins in the MS65/Ch UNC range or better.
Anything with wear or excessive bagging is normally just a hole filler.
